We have been supporting local and national organisations with managing redundancies from both sides of the fence (employer and employee) for over 18 years and is the preferred supplier for providing support to employees at risk of redundancy and their employers through both Government funded initiatives and via its direct relationships with the Department for Work and Pensions (Jobcentre Plus) and SMEs. Best Training has supported over 200 companies in some instances over a very short period of time from large National organisations like Barclays, British Home Stores, McCarthy & Stone, Sunseekers and Kondor to small companies from a variety of different industry sectors.
Delivering face to face support, either individually or via workshops, we help those at risk to develop personalised action plans that enable them to identify transferable skills, develop and write effective CV’s and establish LinkedIn profiles for effective job seeking. Through coaching and mentoring, we also support people trying to establish strong presentation skills and acquire effective interview skills. Our approach and company vision ensures participants move forward with confidence and to view their circumstances as a new chapter in their career. We aim to encourage a motivated approach to job seeking which includes advice about self-employment and guidance on starting your own business.
A diverse prospectus of vocationally specific skills and professional development training is provided to each beneficiary that enables those at risk of redundancy to identify new employment opportunities. As a Matrix accredited provider the information, advice and guidance provided by our expert Careers Advisers regularly exceeds all expectations and allows beneficiaries access to the highest level of advice available. We our a National Award winner for the services we provide, we are able to complement all delivery with accredited certifications from OCR, City & Guilds and the British Computer Society.
